ELIGIBILITY  :                                                                                                                                          

        q  Candidate should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Mid-wife in the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives council or any other State Nursing Council accepted by the authority of this University.

        q   Candidate should have put in minimum of one year experience after registration in any teaching institution / hospital or as a full time Public Health Nurse.

        q   If the registration certificate cannot be obtained immediately, the original evidence for registration in the form of receipt or any other authentication document from the office of the State Nursing Council will be accepted in lieu of the Registration Certificate. (Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council registration is must).

        q   A male nurse candidate registered with State Nursing Registration Council shall produce evidence of having been trained in any of the subject approved by the Indian Nursing Council for duration of last 6 months in lieu of mid-wifery.

        q   The candidate should be medically fit.
