   ELIGIBILITY  :        

    d   The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of B.Sc (Nursing) / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks. 

    d   The candidate should be a registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent in any state nursing council. (Tamilnadu nurses and midwives council registration is a must) 

    d   The candidates should have undergone B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. 

    d   inimum one year of work experience after Registration of Basic. B.Sc Nursing 

    d   Minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. 

    d   Candidates should be medically fit. 

   d   In case of male candidates they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.
